received a brand new 2013 sample from TurboXs! Goes into the stock location and isnt on the market yet either. Will post up pics if its ever installed, but unfortunately my girls car may go back to stock
Yeah I can't say I love the way it sounds but I like that it now makes some noise instead of not making any. I'm sure if my Injen SRI ever arrives the recirc will sound awesome.. but it seems like I have a better chance of getting my SML before then.
It has a "Darth Vader" type sound with the hood open just reving in neutral but when actually driving it really just has generic "air dump" sound. It does turn heads and it is quite loud but I want it to sound a little more refined. Loud and higher pitched would be perfect.
I was away for 3 weeks and the post office has been holding everything for me... I can just imagine the storm of packages and letters that will be arriving tomorrow ahahah
Raj here, with constant fighting with the port of Baltimore we were able to get conformation that the 2013 BOV will be released/cleared from customs and will be arriving at TXS this Wednesday 6/5/13 and will be shipping out that day.
I will make another announcement with they come.
For those of you who have ordered GarageLine Spacers with your order, they will be in Wednesday as well and will ship the same day.
I (Raj) cant thank you ALL enough for being as patient as you have. I really appreciate it.
So I read through the whole thread and couldn't find an answer, but given that this is being marketed for the '13 2.0T, is there any reason this BOV wouldn't work on a '10-12?
Valves are in but the o-rings haven't arrived yet. We are doing our best to ship these out this week. If you can't wait any longer we understand. You are more than welcome to call and get a refund.
