Nameless Performance Exhaust

Would anyone with 13+ be interested in an exhaust replacement from Nameless Performance? I spoke with them today and they only offer it for the 09-12 because the 13+ are routed different.

They would need a 13+ in Washington State to mock and make the Jigs and its possible we may be able to do a group buy with them.

I've included the video for the 09-12:

Personally I think its the best sounding exhaust for the Gen Coupes.
The Blurb from the video:
Here are a few clips we grabbed recently of our Twin Helmholtz Exhaust on the Hyundai Genesis 3.8R. Featuring a 3" inlet and dual 2" secondary circuits and featuring a pair of band stop drone filtering helmholtz resonators (each tuned to a different frequency of the exhaust), the sound of this system is unmatched by any of the competition. This example has ZERO mufflers in it. Still quiet as a mouse at cruise.

Effectively a full muffler delete, the system is quiet at cruise and has drone cancelling properties at cruise as well as when the car is in high gear and in high load full throttle.

Handbuilt from 304 Stainless Steel in our shop in La Center, Washington, Nameless Performance offers the highest quality construction and fabrication that money can buy. Featuring 3.5" slash cut single wall exhaust tips with optional hand constructed 3.5" double wall straight cut or staggered straight cut tips, the exhaust is fully configurable to your specification. Want it quieter at wide open throttle? We can also add a set of 5" diameter mufflers to reduce the sound levels outside the car at wide open throttle.

Yes, I traded a bunch of emails with them about their axle back, but that was before I realized it wouldn't fit the 2013 without replacing the mid pipe too. My only thing is, it's really expensive once you add resonators, mufflers and tips, and I think for my tastes it would be too load without mufflers.

Im not sure if the 13+ is an axle back or cat back, when I called and talked to them they mentioned there are alot of routing differences which would lead me to think its a possible its a cat back

So Im guessing the flange location changed from 2012-2013?

#8 ·
Ah, I didn't know but that makes a lot of sense why they would have to redesign the whole thing considering the system is basically a straight pipe setup.

is it me or do the tips look unbalanced - the right side looks like the inner tip is further recessed than the outer one and then when they pan to the driver side they look like they should, the outer being more recessed than the inner one?

They also have staggered tips where the inner tips are longer then the outer, so that it contours with bumper better .

Glad we have some interest, now we need a 13+ in Washington State. Im still waiting to hear back on a GB

I just talked to them today mentioning the same thing. I want the Axel Back for the 13' like mentioned above the only thing holding us 13's back is the stock OEM mid pipe so a solution is either 1) buy a Megan Racing mid pipe or any after market mid pipe, 2) buy the Axel Back and go to a custom exhaust and have them fabricate a 2.5 in diameter mid pipe or 3) Get a group buy, get some 13 3.8 gens in to Nameless Performance have them test it out and make it themselves. I personally dont want to wait and REALLY want this exhaust so I will be taking my Nameless Axel Back Muffler Delete to a custom shop to fit it on my Gen 13 3.8 R-Spec. I will post Pics and Videos within the next couple weeks. I think this company makes great Exhaust (not to mention the sound!!) and us Gens need to cash in on it.

I'm waiting on my resonated cat deletes, and I may order the prev gen axel back and have a custom mid-pipe made or find someone local that has changed to a full cat back and buy thier OEM mid pipe.

BUt thats on Ebay, I'd rather try to find a local that needs it gone out of their garage. 2 birds 1 stone. plus Im not sure if the diameter changed from Gen1 to Gen1.5

What Year is your Coupe? IF you have a 13+ it will not a be a bolt in affair. you will need the 09-12 mid pipe or you will need to order an aftermarket mid pipe from a forum sponsor or Fleabay.

Im interested to know how much louder it will be with no mufflers.
My TP's should arrive today and perhaps its what Im looking for, if not then I'll be ordering the axel back.

Yea I was looking for a little louder then stock, no rasp, but with the deep signature V6 tone. Kinda hard to explain.
The video is pretty close as long as its not too loud.

usually loud goes with obnoxious, its a very fine line.
