I've got the Competition Clutch 5095-2300 kevlar stage 3. It's holding power is fantastic. But I get some drag when in gear and the car wants to creep ahead.

Why is that?

Would shaving the flywheel down help?

... im not quite sure what you mean by "get some drag" and "car wants to creep ahead"

you may need to get one of those adjustable clutch rods, jay sells them, not sure who else, but it sounds like you dont have enough travel to disengage it completely. I would take it out of gear as soon as you stop and not put it back in until you can start driving again, otherwise youre gonna wear our the friction disk pretty fast.

I brought that up one the adjustable clutch rod thread that is of recent vintage. I was told it only helps if you have the pedal all the way down and not enough engagement. My pedal is maybe 2" down and almost fully engaged. Been like this for two years now. Really can't wait for it to wear out personally.

Don't want to take it out of gear as it is so hard sometimes to get into first when stopped.

no, it would be hard because theres still power going to the gears, so everything is still spinning, the gates will weakly attempt to lock you outta gear, if you use enough force itll still go, but if everything is still spinning youll run the risk of grinding gears.

i dont understand how they said the clutch rod wont work for this....this is exactly the type of thing it was made to solve

it goes up and down..... you can fix both issues..... idk who told you that.

your engagement is full two inches from the top, or two inches from the floor? if its from the top.........just push the clutch all the way in......

so it engages completely, two inches from the top, and wont disengage completely even when you push the pedal all the way to the floor? something doesnt sound right. Mafioso and I have the 5097-2600, and thats disengaged at probably an inch-inch and a half from the top

right, i think its essentially the same thing, just yours is for 2.0 and ours is for 3.8

adjustable clutch rod should fix it...

Then the question is how the hell can I get the bubbles out up there? the thing that really worries me about this whole situation it my clutch worked perfect for like 10k miles and then one day I get murdered by this big ass bump through some road work and my clutch just sh**s the bed I wonder if I could have bent something or broken the trans mount in some way

You need a vacuum pump, sucks everything out, instead of gravity bleeding
