Hey guys. I have a huge transmission leak on my '13 2.0 Rspec MT. The leak is coming from the seal between the trans extension housing/output shaft and the propeller shaft. The car shifted like **** 100% stock, I added redline MT and all that and made it better for a few days as it spewed all that fresh oil right back out again...

Ive been searching and searching and nobody seems to have had this issue yet. does ANYONE know the name of this seal and/or where to get it? the ones i found that i thought would be it say it's for the automatic tranny. HELP.

I THINK It's 43020A, the seal just before the 3 bolt thing that connects to the propeller shaft.

why would the seal go out?
I have no idea. But the car leaks like crazy. Unless its not that that's leaking, idk what else it could be. Im not even sure if I got the car like this or if It broke with me, but Hyundai declined my warranty repair cause of a short shifter...

You want 43020a, but see if you can get just the seal and NOT the drive flange.............

Looks like Hyundai only sells them together as the seal would slowly wear to the drive flange. Changing them in pairs guarantees a leak free repair.............being you have to move the drive flange to change it anyway.
