So I brought some LEDs and was installing them, I was installing the one for the vanity mirror and saw a spark assuming it burnt a fuse and now the vanity , two map lights and the trunk light stopped working. I've already replaced all the fuses in the driver and passenger side . I've looked through the forums but I can't find anything .
If you saw a spark at the point of installation/entry it is a good chance you short circuited the wire. Were your fuses blown when you replaced them? If you a saw a spark you created a connection between positive and negative (which may have damaged the wiring, or socket).
Inspect the socket and see if it looks damaged/black
The same thing happened to me a while back when I was trying to install the vanity LED from Diode Dynamics. Saw a spark and none of my interior lights or dash lights worked anymore. My GPS didn't work or anything. I wound up pulling ALL of the fuses one by one until I found the culprit. It was the 10AMP Memory Fuse. You said you changed all of the fuses, but did you change this one? It's worth double checking. My Memory fuse was inside of some strange "fuse clamp casing" thing that I had to get a pair of pliers to really put some strength into to get it to come out. Best of luck!
When this happened to me (I was installing the same lights) I searched everywhere and kept getting the answer to replace the Memory1 fuse. It didn't work. The manual showed that the map lights were on the RoomLP 10A fuse and I changed that and they came back on. I'd double check this fuse also. This was on a 2013 2.0t R-spec
It was really easy. Took about 30 minutes for me to replace all of them. Just be careful about blowing a fuse. I'll post a link to the video I used to change them all.
This happened to me as well. I have a 2015 RSpec. All interior lights (map, vanity, trunk, etc....) lights went out. Replaced the 10amp fuse for the circuit and all is well and came back on.
