Hey, they're even showing my exact model. It's funny that I haven't had, or even heard of anyone having issues with any of the things they listed with the exception of the Manual transmission.
But hey, we have the 3rd most reliable car on their list of 20. LOL.
Their sample pool is limited to idiots who subscribe to them and cry about random nuances. Majority of issues they list for cars are not even close to be comon.
These are reliability issues? Rattles and tranny are known problems, so they got us there. But this seems pretty bogus that they wrap up all these cars in a few words.
Sorry, but consumer report is unreliable source of information.
The biggest thing that bugs me is that they base their car dependability on 90 day time interval since new....very usless, as all cars have bumper to bumper warranty and issues usually come up later on.
When you look at 3 year study, the outlook completely difeential - most European makes are the worst.
Well I guess im on their list for sure. I bought my new 2015 GC ultimate 6 weeks ago.I traded in my 2014 dead reliable 2014 Veloster Turbo R spec in for it. Im on my way home from the dealer with my new GC with only 26 miles on the odo. Its real cold in the car and good thing it had heated seats cause it was 37deg out. So I was looking at the heater and it was set but not working. So I hit the auto button and PING,SNAP.Something broke inside the dash and fell on my right foot. I get home, Im 63 mi from this dealer! I find a plastic ball joint end broken from probably a flap or door for the heater box. I go back next day(sunday). I show them the piece, they give me a new GC loaner. Five days later they deliver my GC to my house. Last weekend it was 62deg out. My girlfriend says put on the air shes hot. Guess what, NO AIR CONDITIONING.Then I noticed our phones ain't charging useing the center arm rest power out let. Since they are so far away and I work I can't bring the GC in till the weekend. So I finnaly make an appointment and came in yesterday. I was there at 8:30 am. half hour later they say ill need a loaner car cause they have to remove the dash AGAIN to get inside. I putt around the area and get lunch. Im back at dealer and its now 3:45pm. Then I go inside the service desk and ask whats the prognosis. OH" we can't find out why the air is not going past a certian point. Fine, but why am I sitting here wasting my time when its not going to be fixed today!!! So I left. You can boil a egg on my head rite now. I knew it was a ohmen when the first problem arose. Im a mechanic myself and this is not a good way to start owneing a brand new car.So Ill see what will happen in the next feww working days from them.
On a good note. Consumer did an update on the most reliable motorcycles and worst reliable. Yep my Beloved YAMAHAS are again are number one as the most reliable trouble free bikes made. The worst.

I love my "113" cubic inch Yamaha Raider, but starting to dislike my GC. I hope this GC doesen't become a lemon battle?:crying:
Yes that is what they told me in the morning when they had to RIP out the dash again. They mentioned some thing about the first tech screwing up. In all my years I had bought new cars only one other new car I bought had so many trips to the dealer that I finnaly sold it 1 1/2 years later because I just did not trust it any more .It was a new 1997 C5 vette. All my other Vette's before and after that one was trouble free for 20 years. I realy like my GC and hope this will be the last of them.
