Hello

i have a problem with my Genesis Coupe 2.0 Facelift with automatic transmission

The steering wheel is vibrating also at low speed.
It seems that the vibration is stronger when the car is still in cold state. and if am driving faster than its vibrating stronger.

i was 4 times at the dealership but they couldnt find anything.

also when i am parking and the steering wheel is turned in max. position left or right it is vibrating shortly and strong.

i have new tires and new rims, wheels was balanced two times.

there is a buzzing noise when iam accelerating.

does anyone have any idea whats the problem is?

sorry for my bad english

I will go out on a limb here, but maybe the power steering?

When you turn the wheel to the max you should feel strong resistance and even some noise from the power steering pump, but it should not oscillate or strongly vibrate. Mine does not. Vibrating when cool more than warm is also suggestive of the power steering circuit. First, I would check the power steering fluid level. That is simple. The noise while accelerating als suggests a pump or something on the engine.

I too have vibrations as well. I have that grinding noise when turning the wheel all the way, but it is only distinct for a second or two then it fades away. The vibration occurs when I get up to highway speeds, 65-70 then fades away after a couple of minutes. Don't know if anybody has the same problem as I.

So the level is fine. Get a friend to turn the wheel back and forth and listen to it with the hood open. If you hear a noise a stethoscope might help isolate it. Have your friend rev the engine a bit.

The Genesis power steering uses a really good Pentosin fluid. Could the previous owner topped off with the wrong fluid? No idea, but for transmission and power steering I buy my fluid at the dealer to make sure it is right.

At this point you need to do some careful troubleshooting.
