Okay, thanks for that. I see you're still being super helpful. Totally unnecessary. I'll own up to missing the post on my read through, maybe next time you can just provide the info without the extra comment? What does it really accomplish? A quote would have made me realize I had missed it earlier.
How good of condition toes the hood and bumper need to be in to get wrapped? The only thing keeping me from really considering it are all the rock chips my frond end has. If I have to go through the process of painting those 2 pieces anyway I'd just do the whole car at that point.
Depends on how bad it is. In most situations it's a huge improvement over what's there. Plus, keeping your oem paint is better for resale value as opposed to painting the whole car. Most of my customers bring in newer cars which you wouldn't want to paint.
hows the removal if you leave this stuff on forever (3-5 yrs)? does the adhesive stick to the paint or come off clean? also i have seen some cars where the paint adhesion is low (saw a mustang where the paint came off with the clear bra he was pulling!) have you seen this on your car?
Ppf film or clear bra had a very aggressive adhesive. It's applied wet application and hardens up pretty good on the paint. Ppf film needs professional removal, it's not a diy project. Colour change vinyl that is sold by reputable brands is built to be easily removed down the road should you decide to take it off. 3m is one of the more aggressive brands and I wouldn't leave that on longer than 3 years
I love that color. Seen the others, but this one takes the cake. I am attempting to wrap the tiny whiskers next to the "H" logo on my 2013 tomorrow, in gold to match my Genesis wing badge. Any tips for something that small? I'm going to check out your videos now if they aren't blocked at my job.
How many yards of material you you need for the wrap?
