He's definitely down to do whatever it takes. His dad owns a machinery shop right next to him so he has access to just about anything.

This is what I've gathered so far:

Clutch / Flywheel / Pressure Plate
    Bearings
    master / slave cylinder
    pedal assembly
    shifter
    manual trans
    clutch lines

Would we need to get a trans mount and driveshaft? Also hows your car running now? I got a lot of my parts from Tim at Beyond Redline, he told me that if we swap out the ECU with a tuned Manual ECU it shouldn't throw codes.

Let me know what else I'm missing and thanks for the help!

Hey Man, I read through your post about the manual swap. Congrats on the successful project. I also have an AT 2010 2.0T. I've done a bunch of work on it so I dont want to trade it in but the AT transmission is starting to go. I got a mechanic friend that will do the swap for 600 and theres a local shop with an r-spec transmission for 600. Mechanic said he will do it for cheap as long as I get him everything he would need. Any chance you could lead me in the right direction in terms of which parts I would need for him to not run into any roadblocks? Thanks

I am curious about the auto to manual swap. I have a fully built 2.0t auto and am getting bored so been thinking of doing the manual swap. If you are interested please let me know. Thank you.

    Hi,

I am Son from Vietnam. Sorry for bad English.
Now I have 2010 Gencoupe 2.0L A/T. I already read all about your tranny swap thread, but still need some help from you.
So, could you please give me parts number lists what I need to swap tranny?
And I have a question: Can I get a tune on manual ECU, use manual engine harness wires and remove TCU after tranny swap?

    Thank you so much!

Hey, Im doing the transmission swap im putting in engine bay harness and engine harness from a manual. I figured that the same ecu can be used but what codes did you get. Also, do you know if it is the whole drive shaft thats longer or is the just the front part which connects to the transmission? I notice that it slides out but doesn't look like it will be safe even if it does bolt on the the manual tranny. I am in the caribbean (st lucia) and have to import all my parts ( only genesis on island) so want to know if I should get jut the front piece of the drive shaft. thanks
