Hey guys, i'm new to the site and i've been looking at the deals y'all got from the dealer, bank, CUs before signing up. I was wondering how much should i finance through my Credit Union that was offering me 75 months @ 3.49 apr. I'm probably going to put down 5000-7500$ down. What kind of discounts did y'all receive and how much could i get the genesis coupe under the msrp? In my town the msrp is 29145 for the base model. I'd really appreciate some input.

Thanks

Hi.. I just bought a 2105 RSpec a couple weeks ago. I kept tell the guy I would have to think about it. Final offer was $1000 under dealer invoice. I think that's was pretty good.

Mine was ordered end of March, when all was said and done:

2015 Ultimate 6-spd
$32,xxx
the interest rate is somewhere in the ball park of 1.75-2% IIRC. I went through Hyundai Financing as my CU/Bank couldn't touch those rates right now. (albeit, credit scores and negotiations have a lot to do with getting the better interest rate). This was the 5th car from the dealership in less than a year between myself, spouse and kiddos. That might have played a role :)

3.49% for such a long duration (75 months) is really not a good deal. I would reconsider or shop around some more perhaps....(for comparison I'm at 0% for 60 months).

Especially if you consider there's a complete revamp coming around the corner. They should be offering a much better incentive than what you're getting imo.

I bet I beat anyone here with the term loan.
I purchased my GC a few days ago.

MSRP: $30,520

Down Payment: $1000

APR: 3.55% @ 84months (ouch)

Trade In: $14,300 (I was upside down on my loan with the trade in. I owed $17,520. My dad haggled them to give me more for my trade in. The original trade in value was $12,000)
