I'm in Washington State for a couple of weeks so if anybody is interested in a meet and greet, give me a shout! My car is going to be featured at an event called Skyfest at Fairchild AFB near Spokane this Saturday.
Here is my assessment of the PNW experience. Overall, it was GREAT. The people are cool, the car enthusiasts are like everybody else across the nation in that we share a common bond and respect, and the weather is awesome.
My only issue is I am surprised that of all of the groups and car clubs out there, the PNW Genesis Coupe club didn't even make the slightest effort to do anything. Hell the supercar clubs there were glad to hang! lol! It's shocking really. You'd expect fellow Gencoupe enthusiasts, not just owners, enthusiasts to welcome an outsider that's visiting but not a damn peep. Those of you guys that knew and didn't care or make an effort to do anything should be ashamed of yourselves. However, those that wanted to do something but couldn't, that's cool. You know who you are and my hat's off to you.
Anyway, come down to Texas sometime and we will show you what it's like to be a good host.
Had I owned my GenCoupe at this time I totally would have met up for a cruise. Sorry friend! Hit me up next time you're out in the Spokane area.
