Depends how long the ship takes to get to the east coast. From there it will be shipped to Ontario. Your dealer should be able to give you an approximate delivery date.
My 3.8 nav came by train from Vancouver. The dealer found it in Vancouver and then it took 2.5 weeks give or take a day to get it to St. Catharines. They did a good job preparing it so don't rush them at the dealership. One good idea is to ask if you can borrow a manual. This is not a car you can operate just on instinct. I got the first nav model in the area and had to answer the questions myself.
hey guys and gals,if anyone wants wing emblems i have an extra set brand new in box bought an extra one for another member but he never ended up buying the car. im letting it go for $90 cash who wants it......
I spotted JonnyCee this morning.. roughly around 7am on Mavis and Queensway. You're heading into Stavebank rd...you made your fogs yellow and how did you get HID? You didn't have the track....
I still see that you haven't fixed your front bumper and grille yet
Yep i was coming home from work. i didnt install my hids the guy that did it made the tracks for them, the bottom are also hids. and no my bumper is still scratched up lol soon to be fixed tho.
went to Zorro exhaust, if you go down dundas towards dixie its on your right near the Bowling ally, all together it cost me about 400$, they do awsome work all mandrel custom fitted.
Hey, im from mississauga picking up a white 3.8 with nav this thursday, does everyone buy parts online i.e; tail-lights, head-lights, front grill lol . Ive seen some on the vendors advertised on this site but im unsure if i can get them at a better price somewhere else. Also, tenzo rims are they sold in Canada?

Just check out Ontario Genesis Club | Facebook And that'll be a good place to start with aftermarket parts in canada. There are also the USA vendors that sell many parts!
Hey, I just found out that another person in my office just bought a White 3.8 GC yesterday. I pulled into the parking lot and my first thought was WTH because I thought that it was my wife's car and that if she was here there must be something wrong. Then I saw the license plate and realized tat it was a different car.
What are the odds of 2 brand new GC's both White w/ Premium packagre in less than a 2 week span.
Everyone, loves the car. I saw someone checking out the car on Saturday at a local hockey areana (don't worry the car was never out of my sight - ha !) and heard a group of neighbours talking about it as they were out for an evening stroll. It gets a lot of lookers.
When I first got mine, I stopped at the mailbox and it sure worked as a babe magnet, except that the babes were in their 80's. One thing's for sure, it's a granny magnet.
In their 80's and they think it's hot ?! Your car is red...they probably just got all worked up because they thought it was a new Canada Post vehicle and they'll start getting their stuff from the Home Shopping Network faster !
I would think that anything too fast might intimidate them - accelerate too hard and they could swallow their teeth.
Well, good luck with then and just make sure that you have protection....
Just kidding. I thought the Red was a sharp colour too, but the wife wanted White and its basically her car. I think that the solid colours help to define the lines of the car. The Nord. Grey was interesting.
not sure to be honest, I dont even know what gear ratio's are in my 2.0. I know they're dumb though. I cross the finish in 5th gear. I've never owned a car that's had to go past 3rd, maybe low 4th
You should be able to knock 3k off the price. Just be sure you have a good dealer because they can cut corners. Mine gave me nitrogen in the tires and a full tank of gas plus a lot of freebies and service discounts. If you're near Niagara check out Performance in St. Catharines.
If what you want is a low price, regardless of where it is, you'll probably get it without too much discussion at Autovalue Hyundai in Niagara Falls, ON. They were lower than Performance but I live near St. Catharines so I figured it was worth the difference. Then, when I got all the "extras" like the free nitrogen in the tires, and the way they treat you, I figure I did alright. But I was impressed by Autovalue's discount. I'd go there just to get a price that you can wave in another dealer's face.
I got about $1800 off the price of my 2.0T and a few extras added from Burlington Hyundai. The issues wasnt price, but finding the colour and model that I wanted. Some will be hard to find.
New owner here. Dealer found my car in Montreal. Should have it Tuesday. Really looking forward to driving this car. To bad we have winters. I'll have two garage puppies this year.
