I asked my dealers shop manager to install a pro-kit and he said there would be no issues. Now if he meant issues as in no install issue or warranty issues I am not 100% but I can get back to you. However it sounded implied that he meant warranty issues.
Mitch, I have the same view from my office window. Except from the back, I park right in front of my window. Awesome ain't it?
Hey can anyone recommend any places that are in GTA (or London) for performance parts? I don't like shopping online, only because most of those stores are from the states.
Can't help with London stores but in the GTA you can try Nextmod or JRP for local, over-the-counter shopping. Remember that in most cases Canadian stores most likely won't stock the items you're interested in but will order them for you.

Yes I do see a lot of GC's in London, but I don't think any of them are on this forum. Recruiting them would be tough considering they are driving. lol. Fatflyguy, if you could get a bunch of guys from Guelph to come down to London for a meet, I'll do my best to make it to it.
I have a few good meet/cruise ideas for this summer. Turkey Point or Dover, Grand Bend, Wasaga, Sauble Beach, or a nice long cruise of one of the twisty roads north of Barrie known as the Rattler.
Why not? Make a day out of it. Last summer there was a cruise to Niagara and Collingwood. Personally I'd rather do a nice long cruise then sit in some parking lot. Ideas for meets and cruises are always welcome.
I agree, cruises are much better than the parking lot. The car is not doing much when it's just sitting there. I haven't been going out on cruises since I was in high school. I used to drive aimlessly everywhere, those were great days.
MTD, I am down for a good long cruise. Nice sunny summer day, a bunch of GenCoupes, the beach, just put that in your head lol, so nice!
Lakeshore Road just got redone down here, it goes all along the Erie coast. Smooth and twisty, plus goes right through long point, port rowan, and via some other really cool roads makes its way to port dover.
lol, back in those high school days, gas was only 89 cents per litre. So burning gas wasn't a big deal. When gas is at $1.22 per litre, that's a whole different story.
lol, so you bought a GenCoupe to look at from your front window!?! I don't know about you but I bought it to have fun in. Commuter cars are for sissies! Bring on the 92 octane!!! and associated financial penalties
I was at Shell getting gas today and I thought to myself, it's only $1.19, maybe I'll put Silver in the tank instead of Bronze, so I looked at the price of Silver.... Bronze it was.
Ask and you shall receive. Put my photobucket editing skillz to the test!
Google calculated a 3 hour trip from A to D, but with some lunch in between and a bit of sightseeing it could easily turn into a good full day. Especially if anyone would be down for some drag runs at Toronto Motorsports Park (D), or even open lapping if we are early enough (requires a bit more safety stuff, helmet, inspections etc).
Just an example though, throwing that out there to get everyone in the mood!
Yeah, the only reason I added Cayuga for if anyone had any interest in going to the strip. Once people start bringing there Gen's out of storage and Summer starts coming around then maybe we can sort out a full blown tour day. I'd say June-ish, how does that sound?
lol, yeah the 87 octane stays in until the winters come off, then I'll start going into the 91-92. I guess I luck out since I don't use my car for commuting.
Looks like a great route. Port Dover has a few great places to eat and decent shopping too, not to mention the beach. We will definitely try to have some type of meet/cruise there.
Sounds good, glad there is some interest. Maybe we can shoot for end of June or early July so the weather will be no doubt nice. When I get some free time I'll start a meet thread. I'm just rushing through the subscribed threads before I head out the door to Aliston, might see a few of you on the road!
Hey Hammertown folk, I was downtown at the Casbah last night watching the Born Ruffians play. Was good times! Didn't see any GCs though, but I did see a sick Lamborghini! Was anyone else down there at the show?
For the record I'm sitting in the Zellers parking lot in Simcoe and this place is boring lmfao. And anyones bored look for the big 18 wheeler that says "Genesis Express" down the side of it lol
haha, yeah Simcoe doesn't have much in the way of... anything really. That zellers has to be the lamest place on earth. I honestly don't even know why it is in business. I went in there once and it was desolate! The parking lot is good for winter donuts though, when those damn trucks aren't in the way!
Oh and the arbour does make good eats. I go there for lunch in the summer. I've always heard about the hotdogs but never had one.
