Hey Guys just wondering if any of the members here have tried to take off the rad support? Im changing my rad support next week and Ive been searching for DIY and SOL. Long story short, frond end accident and rad support got a lil beating. Please help?.
I know there are a couple venders here ( I don't remember right off ) that have rad supports for OEM FMIC delete . There is also a blocking plate to take place of OE FMIC , for air flow to FMIC and rad
You will probably have to remove the front bumper reinforcement bar and shocks, and then unbolt the support itself..............
I wouldn't think anything more than a good set of tools, good memory (to put it all back together) and some minor mechanical knowledge should be all that's required. Remember to bolt the bumper bar and shocks back to their proper torque specs as they are designed to absorb and deflect in the event of a crash to save your life.
