I received the btrcc full bolt on tune with 1:1 throttle and launch control. I first had the prw base tune and although that tune was great, the added bolt ons were not accounted for in the tune. I have a cnt racing o2 housing and a turboxs racepipe to a custom cat back. Everything matched perfect and the welds look great. I also have the depo racing intercooler kit and it works perfect, still yet to heat soak in the middle of the summer with driving hard. Now, compared to the prw base tune, the btrcc tune feels so much better. The 1:1 throttle is worth not having cruise control. Instead of peaking hard and falling off hard like in the prw tune, this tune keeps pulling throughout the rev range. My clutch now slips in 3rd gear and above. Just to give everyone an idea of how much difference i noticed. I raced my friends stock 07 sti with the prw tune and he beat me by maybe 3 or 4 cars. I raced again yesterday from a 40 roll (both were from rolls) and we were neck and neck. Granted i get a new clutch to hold the power i will definitely be ahead of him. Anyway great job to btrcc and their tune, i recommend it to anyone looking for a bolt on tune
Prw is piranharacewerks and the base tune is their canned tune for a stock GC. They offer other stages but did not offer a 1:1 throttle or launch control or a spare ecu like btrcc does. I did like their tune and am not bashing on them at all as I'm sure their stage 2 tune is very similar to the btrcc one I have now
Just got around to getting a 0-60 time on it. Did 2 back to back runs and got 5.8 both times. I used the torque app to get this time. I'm using nexen nfera su1 tires. I have very slight camber. I spun 1st, and most of second. With better grip I can see it being closer to 5 flat
