...and yet another new product announcement--the Seibon "SC" carbon fiber hood! It is officially IN STOCK and will be ready to ship as of Friday. Pricing will be $540 before shipping.

No pics just yet, but this should give you an idea of what it looks like. I am hoping to receive actual product pics from my warehouse TOMORROW!

Don't forget! Any of the carbon fiber hoods that we offer can also be shipped along with a carbon fiber trunk lid as well at a discount price!

PM me or post up for more info!

Hmm.. Might be nice for the V6 guys who decide to get a SC, not seeing a lot of benefit for the 2.0t unless you want to fab up a duct to cool your turbo or somethin.. Looks nice I guess though.

Seibon really is feeling out the "ricer" market on these hoods... I just dont like any they have released other than the plain ole stocker

it isnt ready yeat mike...

I would like to see a RC Seibon version with the TS vents integrated in with the RC design.

Well, I was just pointing out that if you want a front vent that air can flow into--and then out through vents in the rear, ARK's wouldn't be too far off. Of course, this is functionality-speaking here.

They can make it in fiberglass since the CF mold will also serve this purpose. Either way, why the need for fiberglass? (Just curious).

I do agree that the VIS Terminator is the best looking overall. After that, I'd opt for the Seibon SC.

Personally I prefer FG because a CF hood wouldn't look good with what I'm doing on my coupe, and FG is cheaper and easier to paint.
I know CF is paintable, but all the ones I've seen so far come with a nice clearcoat on them already and I'd hate to strip all that off to repaint, plus that costs extra, so FG hood can save a few $$$ with similar weights.

FG is also easier to modify.

the RC doesnt have to, but it is made for the subaru yes..

Wow....big update from today's test fit.

Apparently the bottom of the hood is molded wrong and it hits the engine on both the 3.8L and 2.0L Coupe! Seibon has to re-engineer the under-skeleton of the hood, so this model will not be available for another few months at the very least.

Tell them to just redesign the whole thing/release another style instead.. ^_^

^Functional venting, in FG, low cost with high quality, please and thank you.

how many designs are they coming out with?

Ive been wondering if the EVO X style of hood would be functional for the 2.0T? if so the CW EVOx hood design would look cool

I haven't revealed the third yet. ;)
Failsauce.

Don't make me snoop around behind the scenes or your site again.. :p
Oh, and I noticed that right click thing you added right after I posted up a few of your M&S pics on the other forum. lol

VIS concept and VTEngineerings should be good for Vmount.

Honestly, even with all the talk about people wanting it, I don't think it would sell very well. I know I wouldn't sport it, way too busy/over the top.
The VIS version is better, but still no.
