I have switched back and forth multiple times now and I have to say that I feel absolutely no seat-of-the-pants difference in acceleration. I think a lot of time when you add something that makes the car louder (intake, exhaust, etc.) it tricks your brain into thinking you are moving a little faster.
Don't get an aftermarket intake filter and/or tube for HP gains, although a dyno might tell you that you'll gain 5 or 10 horses. You are not going to feel that. Get it for the sound. because, like I said, it's like a completely different driving experience.
