Has anyone tested the limits of the stock airbox on these cars yet? I know that the stocker on the sti is not a limiting factor until ~400whp or ~500chp.
Thanks for the advice, and I do agree with you. What's your opinion on what material to use to make a heat shield cheap and efficient? Any ideas on how to go about making one? I thought about fabricating a heat box out of a sheet of stainless steel. I have no skills or tools to do any kind of welding, so I would need to wrap any seams with some sort of duct tape.
