so i went to the auto shop today and i asked the guy for a 3' neck high flow filter..and he explained to me that if we just put a filter when you tighten the filter to the hose the plastic is going to buckle.

first off, is he right? i know some of you guys just have the filter..so how did yours work?

and also im debating just getting an intake..he said hede make me a custom one for 200 with an aem filter...will it sound even better?
