Default Do I just need to be patient?

I have an auto and have the added issue of being in China.

I have over the last year gone to coilovers, big brakes, TBE, FIMC, BOV etc.

At that time I was going to use a CMD to get me through until Haltech was ready but this is where my issues started.

The CMD refused to even allow normal boost with the Zero map. It went back once and still didnt work, second time it still didnt work, even after a lot of fault finding so Dynojet gave me a refund.

I cant really leave it as it is without a tune so got in contact with BR and BTRCC.

BR did not get back to me and with BTRcc we had some back and forth about thier 16g kit and said they would need my ECU, which was no problem but as soon as I asked for a quote and to make plans I never heard back again.

I can understand them not wanting the issues with dealing overseas, but it would have been nice to just be told straight.

So other than putting it back to stock, hoping Haltech do release an auto ECU so I can tune myself I dont think I have too many options? I looked in AEM FiC but dont like having to cut into all the feeds.

I know at least 2 authorized Haltech resellers and would happily let my car be the guinea pig as at the moment the way it drives is just plain annoying.

Am I missing another option though?

Did you try SFR?

Reason I mention is they are yes in US, but their HQ is in Korea. As well if you contact PowerAXEL in Cali, again same deal, they make connections with people in Korea as well. This could be an option and might be able to provide you a shop more 'closer to home' in that respect. I would think they would even expand and have SOMETHING in China.

I think you are on the right path, and are unfortunately stuck with being an auto until Haltech completes this process.

A company called Boomslang makes a plug and play harness for our car and the AEM FIC, although it costs about as much as the AEM FIC does in itself.

I also could be wrong, but I feel like the user 'phase autos' had spoken about tuning stuff in china, may not have been our car, but wouldn't hurt looking him up.

We've done some Chinese ECUs without a single problem.
We can either take care of that @ Korean office or @ U.S office whichever you want to choose to go with.
If you are interested, please contact us sir
Thank you
