Default Maintenance with mods?

I am making some moves toward modifying my car, where recently I just bought an extra stock axleback. The reason being I plan on doing an exhaust with stock tips using the stock tips off of the extra axleback I bought. I was wondering if anybody took in a car with a turbo back exhaust and some boltons for maintenance. Also if so was your car flagged by the dealership and also do they check your computer with any maintenance done by the dealership?

It all really depends on the dealership. I have a sri, bov, exhaust, and still they do routine checkups for me.

went once with a CAI and a catback for a regular maintenance.
On the report sheet in front of the air filter section the tech wrote "aftermarket" and that's it. The manager also heard the car when the tech came to take it and asked me if I had a custom exhaust. But no redflag as far as I know

they won't flag you for exhaust or intake. I've done some work at dealer with my mods they don't mind. Tune or something big they might.

Default aftermarket part

Legally adding aftermarket parts to your vehicle cannot void your warranty. Look up magnuson moss warranty act.. I have worked on the legal end for a large auto company and this act does hold very true. When an aftermarket part comes into question and possibly voiding your warranty is when the aftermarket part is the direct result of the failure... With all that being said all dealers and privatly owned and operated and they can refuse to work on your car.

You can always ask the dealer ahead of time. Just talk to the service dept before you bring it in and say, "How flexible are you with modifications." Generally they will be pretty blunt either way in my experience
