@DaGr8Won,
I got the turbo, Tune, injectors, and MBC for $2,100. But you also need full bolt ons (FMIC, intake, CBE, o2 housing).
I'm getting around to it. I'm just not terribly excited about pulling off my IC piping to install my BOV as it would require getting up early to do the work on a Saturday (when welders are open), pull the bumper/piping and then either catching a cab or drive the car with a filter on the throttle body so that I can get a shop to weld the BOV flange since my wife works on Saturdays.

Ahhh I see. Do you not have the tools at home to do the work yourself? I usually have my wife hand me tools LOL! "Babe can you please hand me the 12mm wrench!!"

Well yeah, I'm doing the work of pulling my bumper and piping but the shop has to do the welding. I like to think I'm good at everything but I'm not yet the accomplished welder that I'd like to be. First step, welding classes lol.

I could use some welding classes myself !
I should have my turbo kit installed in about 2 weeks. Next week I drop my car off for 4-5 days to have the fenders, hood, front bumper, and roof painted. I did the 13' front end conversion so I need to have it painted. Didn't want to leave my car at the paint shop with an upgraded turbo lol. So for peace of mind, I'll install the weekend after I get it back.

I will be posting before & after dyno sheets !

What do you all think about getting the Tomei cams (280) and better fuel pump for this kit? Also thinking of the synapse manifold.

An upgraded fuel pump and the synapse turbo manifold would be a really nice touch! I'm not 100% sure about the cams though; Meanig not sure if they need to be accounted for with the tune since the canned tune does not accomodate these at all.

No im talking with a custom tune! Mods I want to have is
Tomei M7960
Clutch & flywheel
02 housing
Downpipe
FMIC
750cc injectors
NGK one step colder spark plugs
Synapse manifold
Meth/water kit
Fuel pump
Cold Air intake
Rfl blow off valve
Oil cooling kit
Tomei 280 cams

Custom tune on 93 octane

Thinking about that setup!

But I'm debating on some of those parts.

What engine management will you be using? Will you be waiting for SFR or BTR to come into your hood?

If it's a custom tune than those parts would be killer! Would be a beastly setup for sure. Do you plan on upgrading the rods at all?

Most likely sfr since I already have there 1.5 canned tune. And I might drive to them.
I'm thinking about doing this within the next 2 months. And yes I might. But I was thinking of staying away from the stroker kit and heads and rods because if I'm going to do that I might as well go to a bigger size turbo.

Oh and I currently run an open downpipe. Super loud. So I'm going for loudest genesis lol. Some say it can hurt the engine but others say it cant. I've been running open downpipe for about 10k miles already.

That's a good question. I will find this out hopefully the day I put her on the dyno. This is information I'd like to know as well. I'll probably ask BTR this question also, but lately they have been taking FOREVER to get back to me.

The Tomei M7960 plays well with Tomei's cams and an aftermarket manifold. You will need injectors but I don't believe you need an upgraded fuel pump at all.

Hey the clutch you ordered ( ACT Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T clutch kit (HY3-HDSS)) did you need any additional parts? Bolts or clutch line? Or was it an easy bolt on piece?

You will need to use your pilot bearing from OEM flywheel or you can buy a new one. It's very simple to press out/in. $7 bearing puller from harbor freight had it out in 3 minutes. All hardware and accessories were included.

Okay thanks I appreciate it. Was hoping the part you got from harbor freight tools will be the only thing I need. Well I should be ordering most of the parts today. And hopefully the turbo and manifold in 2 weeks. See what happens! can't wait to see the numbers you guys are pushing afterwards.

Finally got my last piece in place (Grimspeed exhaust manifold gasket) Everything looks good. The synapse manifold flange is a bit rough but that's easily fixable. Just waiting to get my suspension fixed under warranty. Parts are in for that today so I can get that done. Then I can go to Hyundai and get the immobilizer data copied over to the tuned ECU. And FINALLY after four years I can do what I planned to do 5 years ago. Glad I waited though. So much has been learned in the last few years by our members and there are so many more products now to choose from now. I love this forum.

2010 2.0T, Tomei 7960 with BTR canned tune, Deatsch 750 injectors, Synapse exhaust manifold, Kamak intercooler, Synapse BOV, CPE turbo back exhaust with HFC, CPE intake. CC stage 2 clutch, AEM Failsafe gauge, GFB MBC.

Get your immobilizer copied over? I am unaware of what you're referring to? I too have an immobilizer. I was under the impression that the ECUs we received from BTR were in a "state" that would have be immobilizer algorithm code written to it when the car is in the on position for 30 seconds before initial startup.
