Genesis coupe overboost?

Hello everyone today i installed my tial q bov with the -10 spring and seems like im getting a problem. The car randomly wont let me hit more then 5 lbs of boost until i turn it off and then back on. I am guessing it is a overboost but dont seem to know how to fix it. The regular boost solenoid is capped and the line is ran to the intake manifold. Any help would be appreciated thank you for helping.

Would need more information about your current set up.

Are you tuned? What is your psi?

If you think it's overboost, are you getting a CEL?

I had the same problem on my gen. Have the tial q on stock location but line is running to the intake manifold. Im all stock except intake and exhaust, no tune. I know I hit boost cut, only allowed low boost (3-5psi). I know the same thing happened on my 2011 with the txs rfl. Still haven't figure it out to this day. but jay from sfr said it may have been the bov not opening fast enough to release the pressure. Does yours happen at high rpms?

You should be getting P2261 solenoid code.. That's because BOV isn't responsive enough and gets stuck at one point.
We've seen it a lot with Forge BOV or any type of stock location BOV. The best one so far is the new Synapse BOV.

do you know if the bov is opening? Might have plumbed to the wrong vacuum line.

Car is going into limp mode.
