Hi there guys is any one else haveing this strange rattleing noise. when i start the car and then after while reving it to about 2500 rpm, cause my rattle like crazy even when im driveing.

Yup i get that damn rattle as well. No fix yet besides adding washers or something to the wastegate. When im driving on the street with my windows down i can hear it sounds nasty.

mine only rattles on neutral and I make it rev it will do a small exhaust rattle =S but when driving it or spooling no rattle there?

I have the same rattle. Notice it alot more in reverse. I actually started getting a new sound on start ups now. After 1-2 days of not using the car when i go to start it up i get a sound similar to a rusty pully. Like a high pitch squeal that lasts about 30 seconds then after the car is warm no more sounds

Mine rattles as well. I'm sitting in mine and when I give it a little gas it has a small rattle sound that seems to be coming from the engine bay (non-exhaust rattle) I hope they come out with a fix, I've only had the car for three weeks!

Ya dude shut right up and retracted his statement " you have to pay diagnostic fee " I'm like bro diagnose what? I just showed u that my heat shield on manifold and turbo is moving back and forth. Turns out the exhaust shield is loose to. Enough said !!! Knowledge is power

i just got my car back from the dealer. here is the story there stating that the heat shield should move a bit because its not fixed in one position for heat expansion and contraction.......... but what they are saying is causing the rattling is exactly what i thought it was and thats the " WASTEGATE"

they said they have had alot of complaints and that hyundai is working on it. this is def something they should have worked on before releasing the car cause its fricken annoying

My exhaust is a rattler too as soon as i drove off the lot! in the back but i might have the rattle up front. honestly the exhaust is not impressed me in the slightest haha.

Hmm....wonder when the TSB will come out for this. It's annoying me beyond belief but my girl says she can't hear it. She just looks at me like I am crazy and tells me to just drive and stop worrying about it. Haha....

I put 500 miles on my car this weekend, and have been hearing it at random points. It happens when the car is hot or cold.

Fuel pump whine also is happening randomly.

And, also trouble starting when it's hot out.

Sigh, love the car, but I hope these issues can be ironed out.
