A lot..Easily over 5k. My kit is coming in tomorrow, but I won't be near those numbers, haha. Good job though, love to see people pushing the bk2, it has good potential.

Mannnn no ceramic coating or wrapping on the exhaust manifold???? I see you like to live dangerously hahahahah

Just looking at the pictures alone makes me scared for the plastic valve cover!! lol.

good numbers though, technically wouldn't the HP rating be by the hub though not the wheel ;P

I was thinking the same thing about the manifold...but I have heard some stories about cracking due to wrapping it. I'm about to install my set up tomorrow, basically the same kit as this and was contemplating on whether to wrap or not...really don't know any local companies around here that ceramic coat..and if there are, never heard anything about quality wise..and since I'm moving soon, don't really have time to send my manifold in as this is my dd. lol

Don't know about Corpus Christi or Portland. But I had Kozmic Motorsports send mine out to get coated in Houston.

Just to put it into perspective...... I have my manifold both ceramic coated and wrapped. Plus the fact the Evo X has the turbo against the fire wall.. I took a temperature gun after a drive at lunch time and got a reading directly off the manifold... 900°F!!!!!!!!

I don't even wanna know how hot it would be without it.

Thats true, but have you ever heard of the manifold cracking due to wrapping, or do you think it's just on some rare occasions? Im going to be picking your brain for some knowledge since I'm still fairly new to the modding scene. I wasn't going to wrap it after seeing a lot of manifolds not being wrapped, and in the pics in this case. Except I have the MFW manifold instead of the Synapse.

A manifold will not crack because it is wrapped. A manifold will crack because it is junk lol, wrapped or not. You should always wrap it, for the sake of everything around it. Stuff will start to melt.

In addition, fire sleeving should be used on any rubber lines, as well as any wiring near or around the turbo/manifold.
