Default ECU tune results of 2.0T

This is a Korean dyno on a 2.0T manual.

Only an ECU mapping was done. Stock turbo, intake, exhaust everything.

Stock: 188whp(PS), Torque 30.2kg.m

ECU Tune: 223.6whp(PS), Torue 42.6kg.m

Approximately 35whp(PS) gain and 12.5kg.m torque increase.

1ps is not quite equal to 1hp. 188ps is roughly 185whp. So 223ps is 219whp. But nice gains nontheless.

I'd be happy if it is.

Why? I've seen amazing gains on turbo'd cars with just a tune.

Now I want to see a stage 2 intake/turboback tune.. possibly upgraded injectors too.

amazin and knowing that from 5500rpm up injectors are maxed out the additionnal power comes from leaning upping the boost adjusting timing...nice work....must be perfect for drifting easily...and you can pass cars 40mph in sixth gear no problem no need to shift a geat...dream stuff...go turbo or go home

Exciting news. I wonder what JR has to say about this.

Would this affect mpg at all? The stock air/fuel mixture is insane. I see the engine has been leaned out, but is that because more air has been added or less fuel has been used?

yeah um... judging from the graph they changed the rev limiter to 7,500 rpms.

but i wonder what all they changed? because the info we have gathered from JR and the AMS crew leans towards the car needing injectors if they are going to up/hold decent boost.

but we all need to remember, this info comes all the way from korea, and details can get left out, like new injectors only or something.

Didn't sfr make 235whp with an ecu tune?

Still impressive with just a tune but not unreasonable.

EvoX make about double that on just a tune. 1/335i make about double that on a tune. This seems very believable. Truth be told, I'm dissappointed in that result. I'm hoping for more.

You can get over 60 WHP off of just a tune for the EVO X and 135i/335i ??? I am no expert on those cars but that sounds a little much to me.

Yup, some 135i/335i owners have seen up to 75whp with just a tune.

Did they also turn up the boost or just tune the air/fuel/timing maps?
