Well the problem lays in the pipes and incorrect angle or length and using the couplers to fasten them together. When using intercooler piping especially ones that are not made specific for the car with good engineering behind them you will find that the couplers are makeing up for the pipes lack of engineering. I had a turbonetic FMAX kit on my integra but it was designed for the civic which had almost identical piping with tbolts but still under boost(13-16psi with t3/t4) some times especially if there is tire hop or any turbulance in the car they will POP off or leak.

My earlier post was show the ebay stock replacement pipes for 229+ shipping 59= 290 plus the muffler shop to bend some pipes to make it work for the mishimoto IC 80 bucks = 370 plus couplers and tbolts 30-40 bucks = 400 but and a huge BUT is it will not be as nice or probably reliable as a LOVEFAB or other kit.

Tony, the other guy was wanting guidance in regards to preventing anything from popping off. I am fully aware of all the other stuff.

:O :O You can't say that in this thread.

Going to say it again, vendors should really take a tad extra time and benchmark their intercooler kits. It will show vendors > eBay made in China crap

Flow Rates
The lower the pressure drop, the less the turbos have to work to meet the ECU's boost demand, ultimately resulting in less intake heat.

How-to test:
Tests are conducted on a dyno, acquiring boost pressure sensor and the dyno's integrated data acquisition. Taking several boost pressure measurements before and after each of the intercooler assemblies and averaged, with a graph of their deltas.

Temperature Drops
The higher the temperature drop, the denser the air charge, resulting in more power and less tendency for detonation.

How-to test:
Tests are conducted on a dyno, using dual Omega DPi temperature meters and the dyno's integrated data acquisition. Several dyno runs were made recording temperatures before and after each of the intercooler assemblies and then averaged, with a graph of their deltas. Document the ambient temperature and ensure it is within the same 5-10 degrees.

You can buy a cheap flat screen at Walmart to say you own a flat screen, or you can goto a specialty shop and get a nice high quality flat screen for more, but you are content knowing you bought the best product available.

The only thing that sux is nowadays the same flat screen at the specialty shop is the same one from walmart with a different name, same internals and a higher price tag.
Same goes for the parts industry, almost everyone is china spec, its the smarter thing to do, especially in this economy.

Problem is it's piping isn't a consisant size. Bottle necks in piping aren't good

i wonder if they made a kit that allows for the crash bar to stay in place or is it just the design of the intercooler that changes

M-Spec is a little outdated. That line no longer exists and is replaced with the LS-Spec that I currently have a special on.

The V-Spec and R-Spec's don't change the size of the core themselves, but are higher spec applications of the same sized core.

To take the SR20 intercoolers as an example, the V-Spec is over $500 more then the LS-Spec while the R-Spec is over yet another $200 more.

Plus, we're selling it for less.

Your picture on your site is pretty poor - does that core require a crash bar delete?

Additionally, would we have the ability to add on BOV kit like the SuperDrift one with the greddy FMIC?

Not my pic, it's Greddy's.

We are working on getting a better pic in the future. The Greddy kit does require a crash bar delete since it's so big. And as long as you can get the correct flange, you can weld on virtually any BOV.

Here is our Universal piping "kit" Ladies and Gents!

2.5" with T-bolt clamps and silicon couplers. Red, Black, or Blue, though Black is standard.

Throttle body and FMIC inlets/outlets are reducer couplers, as well as the turbo to charge piping.

Blow off valve flanges can be welded onto the throttle body side, or pre-intercooler side.

$399, inquire for ordering information!
