Yes, the crash bar is kept in tact. No cutting/welding required.

I'll have a detailed write up on the Intercooler kit sometime during the week.

is it fair to say at this point that the stock turbo is maxed out? I'm trying to think of other ways to get the HP number up. TQ really isn't an issue at this point.

I'd say so... you could always try meth injection, but the turbo is tiny and trying to push it further would just be blowing hot air into your engine. At this power level the car should be tons of fun, so I'd say if you're not satisfied with this it would be cheaper (and alot more fun) to just throw on a new snail and go! I'm sure BR has something like this in store for us. I'd also imagine that much more power than this you'll be needing a clutch, so you have to remember that expense as well.

I WANT THIS KIT SOOOO BAD!!!!

The IC pipes do not com pre-flanged as its designed to use the stock BOV.(which at this level works just fine)

We are more than willing to accommodate flange requests on a case by case basis.

Our downpipe does eliminate the need for the secondary catalyst. However it does not cause any check engine lights etc.

We may have some tricks left up our sleeve that could boost peak hp a bit more...

You are spot on about the clutch. However, don't forget about the dual mass flywheel. We are rapidly approaching the limit of its usefulness as well.

@BR request:

Can you get a dyno graph with both stock, stage1 and stage 2 on the same chart?

These posts are great and I too can't wait to see the stage 3 results. I'm really excited that we are having the opportunity for our cars to grow some Balls lol. With stage 2 kit installed this car should definately turn some heads at the track for sure. Do you think soon we can see some videos of the phoenix project build so I can stare at it long enough for me to buy the stage 2 kit! Just sayin
