this is an old news and what you said is misleading. The GC 2.0t gets 30mpg hwy.

The more HP you USE, the less mpg you get. Any new car now a days should be getting ~30mpg hwy. The more HP avalaible doesn't always mean, less mpg. I have heard of a ZO6 getting 30mpg, and they have a ton more HP avalaible, but when not using all of it, engines are usually the same efficiency if the weight is the same. That new 2011 Mustang gets 30pmg on highway, but only 19 in the city and probably if you ever use any of the hp (which you surely will) I would be surprised if you get 18mpg out of that thing on a tank.
