As anyone ever done a resonator delete on the 3.8? I tried using the search and google but no responses.. I have seen the 2.0T with resonator delete but I want to hear the 3.8

The resonator on the 3.8 really doesn't open up the sound that much. At least for the cost of getting a shop to do it, it's not worth it (imo). If you have the ability to do it yourself, I say go for it. Get some scrap 2.5" piping, two butt end band clamps, and go to town.

That video is horrible...I can't tell if the sound is more raspy or more throaty....Throaty being the better IMO.

Does this little straight-pipe fix do the trick? I've always wanted to improve on the exhaust note, but can't pull the trigger on an axle-back or CBE.

Yea, I would just remove the resonator if you want a little more DBs. It's not going to be as substantial as most people make it out to be.

^agreed. If your running stock setup, there will be a slight sound difference. However, if you went a full aftermarket setup, then thats a different story.
