Isnt that where they left off like 1.5 yrs ago? A functional blower that didnt clear the hood? They finally agreed with everyone who said it was dumb to boost without a tune?

What is required for a new FS thread?

There's a big difference between a quality kit made by a company like NGM and what else is available on the turbo side. NGM is legendary in the Hyundai aftermarket scene. They just took their time with the s/c and also an upcoming twin turbo as well. The biggest hurdle was tuning--and NGM has that.

Meh, who want's lag, anyways? This car is too damned heavy to be a demon without gutting it and making it unreasonable for the street. Give me the slight deficit and slightly lower efficiencies of a positive displacement blower in exchange for instant-on torque any day of the week.

You can't argue my preference- anytime, anywhere. There are plenty of folks to buy turbozzzz. Let them have it. For me, I'll take the 100+ hp deficit and the lower mileage in exchange for the driving characteristic. Frankly, I'm jealous of the energy cost to performance gain from a turbo set-up, but even a cro-magnon roots blower feels better to me than all but the most finessed turbo systems.


EDIT: I also should add that I'm among the few that love a whiny supercharger gear drive.
