Default Dyno: High angle cams installed...

3.8 V6

Green is the intake + exhaust dyno graph.

Red and Blue is after the high angle cam.

Take a look at that torque jump.

i feel like the numbers for the i4 are lower than expected but the v6 seems to happily surprise. maybe its the way to go. i just hate that fuel economy. i know its a "sports car" and you shouldnt care but in the real world i still have to pay for gas every week.

Pretty solid results. That's pretty far past the 370's numbers and 7.5K rpm's in a v6

still needs headers and a tune too...I wouldn't put 350whp past it after that.

X2, I'm kind of now debating which engine will be the best choice for me. I was dead set on the I-4 but seeing the performance gains on the V6 it's starting to make me second guess my decision. Only time will tell.

exactly. Decisions, decisions. But the 4.1 stroker, all motor is seeming more and more beastly. easily over 400whp.

oops.... anybody have some handy-wipes?

V6 MT6 = Averaging 18.8 mpg driving fairly "sporty" at 2200 feet above sea level with lots of stop and go. 4 tanks so far, and looking like 19.5mpg on the 5th tank full.

Almost all city driving with 5-10 miles of freeway driving per tank.

v6 auto 22.0 MPG so far 300 miles on the car. Its been very wet around here and this is my first RWD car so it been driven a little passively in the rain and mildly aggressive when clear. I am just above sea level.

ouch, I was really hoping we would see it closer to the estimated 25 Oh well, It's roughly about what my tib gets anyways.
