I'm waiting for Cp-e's. They said it would be out in 1.5 months about 1.5 months ago so....
![]() I just took out the stock airbox and slapped on a cone filter from Autozone as a temporary DIY SRI. works well enough

Currently, I'm just running the cone filter from Autozone.
I'll probably be stopping by a performance/fabrication shop down the street, to see how much they'd charge me to fab up a heat shield.

I have a cold air intake, works great.
I actually noticed pretty good power gains, I was really surprised. In fact, the intake yielded more power gains than my exhaust, go figure.

Edwin, where did you source that bend and those clamps? Is that Autozone stuff?
I'd prefer that over the stock tube I'm using just because it's smooth inside. Thanks.

I’ve been happy with my RRM. It has a K&N filter. The SRIs give the car a mean growl under the hood which I like.

You may have to cut it a bit if you want to run the long AEM filter like I did: The coupler for the TB may need to be cut at a slight angle too, tho I never did that as you can see... No, those nipples that you are looking for is a grommet kit that you can buy at autozone, it comes with various sizes and the drill to make the hole in the plastic pipe.
Here is a link: http://amzn.com/B000BQ090Y You will also need to get a new hose (longer) but those are easy to find and relatively inexpensive... Hope this helps!
