Post My ATQ Experience...

On October 4th 2016 i placed a purchase with ATQ (Addicted to quality) i ordered their very popular Short Throw Shifter. Unfortunately my experience was not great and i want to make it clear that in no way am i trying to bash ATQ, Im simply just sharing my experience so others can form their own opinion and make a decision before purchasing. My order took over 3 months to arrive Oct 4th- December 29th and truthfully the wait did not bother me, what bothered me was they kept saying "Your order is in the next shipment" or "your order is set to ship in next weeks batch" but week to months no tracking no shipping no contact, I kept contacting them until i was told to call, the man who answered was very nice and offered me a free install if i came to their location which isn't too far from my location but later when i followed up the offer changed to a $100+tax install. All in all form your own opinion the final product appears to be high quality but i have not installed it yet. Hindsight 20/20.

Yeah, the products are quality but the guy who runs the company is a real douche. He tries to troll and says/does ridiculous things. Your experience is the norm when ordering from him.

You should see him on Facebook.

My story is similar and finally what was holding up the order was getting the shift knob powder coated. I told him to forget it and just ship it bare and I would get it coated myself rather than waiting another 3 months for a one day job. I have no complaints about the product, but the business owner is a piss poor excuse for a businessman. I can't say I would recommend anyone that charges you first, then waits 3 months to ship your product. Too much can happen in that time and you would get screwed.

I got the ATQ front and rear bushings. They were shown as in stock on the web page and I got them in about a week. The parts looked great, smooth transaction.

I got my shifter from TWM Pref. I liked the design better and I got a free knob . I was a little afraid of a long lead times with ATQ (based on the reviews I've read). Just got it installed and am super stoked after my first drive. Really tightens things up (and my car is brand new).

Three month wait? Dreamy! Compared to their typical one-year wait. See this thread.

I had to wait for around 3 months as well, but I'm really happy with shifter and bushings.

Yeah I gave up arguing with him about an issue I was having with his endlink kits where he assured me he's installed them the way I did with no issue and I must've abused his product. The only reason I gave up is because I like most of his products (aside from the endlink kits) and will probably purchase more products in the future from him even though he seems to treat his customers rather unpleasantly also I didn't want to get "banned" from purchasing things from him.
