Ive ran aftermarket wheels on my cars for like the last 9 years and out of those 9 years Ive only curbed ONE wheel and that was caused by my own stupidity for trying to back down a street next to a curb for about a half of a block when I was 19. lol

Im amused watching people at drive thru's at the bank or fast food joints just straight drive over curbs or ride against them with no cares in the world. Its like they have no comprehension of judging distance or something.
Yeah, I think the normal everyday person is just oblivious and runs over the curbs. I think those that curb their aftermarket wheels either have more money than they know what to do with or have cheap wheels. I guess my thing was that, "hell, I spent over $2k on these. No way in hell that curb is coming anywhere near my wheels." For that sake I am happy I couldn't afford wheels until a few years after I got my car, because originally I fell into the oblivious new driver category. lol
