I actually don't know about the Camaro, but the new Mustang, despite having a live rear axle, is said to handle surprisingly well. And I don't mean well for a Mustang, I mean well for a sports car.
But yeah it would have been nice for Hyundai to have squeezed more power out of both engines from factory, and making the 3.8L do 60mph in something closer to 5.0seconds. I agree with you WolverineJoe, that had they done that, a lot more people would be forced to stand up and take note.
