I have never seen ANY new car that had paint on bolts/nuts that could be removed as a result of modification that would signal a technician to void warranty.

And i have always performed all work on my new cars, and not once when they needed to go the dealer for warranty work, did they void my warrany because of a paint mark that didnt line up on a bolt, those marks are made at the assembly plant, and no dealer is going to know about these marks as "warranty marks"
