for the love of god, even my piece o crap 1997 camry 3.0L V6 190HP (forget torque) 5SPD Automatic tranny claims that it can do 0-60 in 7.9s... and it's also around 3300+lbs too.
There is absolutely no way 2.0T will go over 8s, and there is absolutely no way 3.8 V6 will go over 6s
don't forget they kept mentioning 3.8L V6 will do 0-60mph in under 6 seconds... and they have been developing the car for YEARS they must have known what the car was capable of. I doubt they were bluffing because if they were, they will be in serious trouble when the car actually gets launched. They are trying to build up a brand image now. and bluffing will not help to achieve that in any ways.
Unless someone can prove me wrong, until then i'm gonna go with what i know.
