Well Hyundai certainly could be underrating the horsepower. Many questioned the Nissan GT-R’s horsepower and believe it too is underrated. Nissan advertises it at 480 horsepower. Car and Driver tested 5 Nissan GT-R’s (track and dyno) and posted the results in their October issue. The results… They estimate the horsepower is closer to 520. Guess its better to advertise slightly lower horsepower ratings than to be criticized for having less than advertised horsepower ratings.
