No need to really worry about the car in the winter time. Definitely get a good set of winter tires, but sand bags shouldn't be needed but wouldn't hurt if you're still not feeling overly confident with how it drives in the winter. Yes, there are parts of the city that can get pretty slick but honestly this car isn't that bad in the winter.

congrats buddy! i wouldnt worry about the winter either. when i got my genny, i bought a set of michelin X-ices from hyundai also. amazing tires. Im also kinda new to Calgary also, so i didnt know what to expect from a RWD in blizzardville calgary. overall very very surprised at the control and stability of the car in snow...ofcourse keep ur traction control on.

NICE! Good to hear that winters are not so bad.

Looking to get the car tinted from the dealership...anyone got theirs tinted? Why am I hearing that no tint is allowed on the front sides in Alberta??...haha...that leaves me with....just the back. Is it worth it? Have any of you guys taken the "risk" and tint it anyways?

It would look a bit weird if there's no tint in the front sides no?

dont deal with Hyundai for anything unless its warrenty or oil changes. terrible service, slow and dumb for the most part. Crowfoot i heard is good for customer service.

I got my car tinted at cal salon up on 32nd NE just down the street from speed tech. guys were fast, i personnaly think they did a stellar job, and i was too upset with the price either. I have my genny 30% on the front 2 windows and 5% in the back 3... still havent been pulled over yet. I also just night shaded my taillights.

k, I'm just moving to Calgary from Toronto...I've been to Calgary once this summer, but where are the roads that you can just drive??...lol....I mean all the roads I went in had a speed camera or a construction zone...:P

Interesting. I'm actually buying one as well. Haven't paid yet. But I was going to tomorrow...

I didn't hear how it sounds in real life, but I read a lot of reviews about it.

Generally, it's louder than stock. Obviously. Louder than ARK, which is my favorite. But still not annoying loud and with minimum drone.
A quite few people I trust on this forum are saying that the sound is amazing. Plus youtube stuff, and here I am..

PM me what deal have you found and where. Perhaps we can save something on shipping if we order together? Or you can wait till spring when I get mine installed and listen how it sounds!

I am planning on waiting until spring, so that may be perfect. I like how it sounds in all the videos. My concern is volume I don't want it too loud.

Ok, so my CP-E cat-back was shipped. Haven't received it yet, but at this moment it doesn't matter. I will only be able to install it in the spring. So let's get together once it's done so that you guys can check it out. Still long time to go though... I hope we don't forget!

Right on, can't wait to see it, i thinking gonna order the DC Sports exhaust pretty soon, they are on back order right now, but hopefully have it installed by the time we all meet up

Depends on weather really. Sometimes in April I hope. If only we can get an earlier spring than usual, and city can clean the streets... I can't wait!
