I am planning on buying the stage 1 kit for my 2012 2.0T manual GC.
If I understood correctly I think someone form BR said that the main performance improvement is coming from the reflash. The exhaust and the CAI are helping but not as much. Is there any problem to daily drive the car with a 91 octane tune without the CAI installed. I am planning to install it but this might not happen right away. |

No just flash it with the right tune and run the correct fuel octane and you are good. The exhaust and intake are not required and there are no real improvement for at cat back just minor ones. But if you go with a catless turbo back you will need a new tune for sure.
