Thats a good difference! My times:

13.7 @ 103.7 mph - BR stage 2
13.3 @ 104.7 mph - BR stage 3

Those times were on the stock clutch and flywheel.. I cant wait to see what i run with the new stuff installed!

I see you dropped 1.1 seconds after the stage 1 install! I am very interested in the BR kit myself. I have researched here, and seen videos on yuotube, but I wanted to ask for your feedback.

# When you installed the CIA, did it involve removing the turbo silencer?

# In your opinion; how much louder is the exhaust now? I like the sound on the vids, but I want to avoid an "obnoxious loud."

# Have you had any problems since installing the stage-1?

# Have you seen the cruise control issue that came up from others?

Any other feedback you would give someone considering this kit?

Thanks!

# The CAI or SRI removes the stock intake so yes

# The intake and tune will not cause the exhaust to get louder IMO

# No none what so ever

# There is no cruise issue that was in the early stages of the tune

Any other feedback you would give someone considering this kit?

The tune is worth every cent you will not ever want to go stock again!

Thanks!
your welcome!

I am planning on buying the stage 1 kit for my 2012 2.0T manual GC.

If I understood correctly I think someone form BR said that the main performance improvement is coming from the reflash. The exhaust and the CAI are helping but not as much.

Is there any problem to daily drive the car with a 91 octane tune without the CAI installed.
I am planning to install it but this might not happen right away.

No just flash it with the right tune and run the correct fuel octane and you are good. The exhaust and intake are not required and there are no real improvement for at cat back just minor ones. But if you go with a catless turbo back you will need a new tune for sure.

Thanks for the reply. Since flashing the ECU will also remove the rev hangs, I guess I would need to install a catch can.

A catch can isn't required at all, but never hurts

I see everyone seems to be going the way of the replacement ecu option. Is this something you might consider doing?
