Exceladyne Exhaust Re-release... New Low Pricing...Free giveaways!

Greetings everyone! We are extremely excited to finally re-release our Exceladyne Exhaust components for the Genesis Coupe!

What is Exceladyne and why is it different?
Excelaydne is Beyond Redline's own brand of high quality automotive components. We manufacture everything to our highest quality standards that can't be matched by the competition. Here are some of many reasons to choose Exceladyne products for your car.

Quality of Construction
All Exceladyne exhaust products are made of top grade 304 Stainless Steel that will never rust or tarnish. This includes our industry exclusive 1/2 flanges, 3.0in exhaust piping, system hangers, custom made muffler and twin 3.5in staggered exhaust tips.

1/2 in flanges....An industry exclusive!

Staggered, double wall, twin 3.5in tips follow the contours of the rear bumper

We want your exhaust system to last longer than your car, not look like it belongs on 20 year old Honda Civic after 3 months. We dare you to ask the competition what they use...otherwise your exhaust could end up looking like this....
This picture was taken after only 1,500 miles.....

Maximum exhaust flow and an amazing sound!
It doesn't matter if your car is stock, a mildly modified street car, or a all out race vehicle. The 3.0 in exhaust tubing can flow enough air to handle any amount of of power you want to make. Our custom made muffler was designed exclusively for the Genesis Coupe. Its construction allows for a quiet rumble under idle and cruising situations, but put your foot down at it roars with a tone that would make a Ferrari owner jealous.

Made 100% in the USA by Genesis Coupe Owners
Have you ever had a question about your products or wanted to talk to an expert before you buy? You can call our shop anytime during regular business hours and speak to the people who design and build Exceladyne products. We own two Genesis coupes that we both daily drive and race on a regular basis. We know this car inside and out and more than happy to answer any questions you have. We have countless hours of dyno testing and tuning knowledge to back up our product development and can justify every product we sell. If we wouldn't put it on our car, we won't sell it!

More than just a website, we are a real store with real people ready to assist!

Exceladyne Genesis Coupe Exhaust Components

Axle Back Exhaust

Two things...

1) Use headphones on the video. Luckily the exhaust sound goes through one speaker channel and the music is mixed in the other channel.

2) This catback is amazing! I have a first gen model which is slightly different how the kit comes together, but the sound is very good. It is loud enough for the driver to have fun and has an amazing sweet spot right around 3000 rpms. Also, it is only really audible from up to 200 feet away. My friend raced my car at an autocross event and I was surprised how quiet it is at a distance. Some people may see this as a negative but I like that I won't piss off neighbors and won't attract attention from the 5-0.

Only downside (at no fault of beyond redline) is the car runs pig rich stock. If you want the tips to stay polished looking, you need to keep a rag in your car and clean the soot off the tips every week, or else they'll be pure black.

2010 "2.SLOW" R-spec - with or w/out mods - keeping it simple because the car's simply beautiful.

I agree with a lot of this. I have the prototype V6 cat back (that's actually my car in the V6 video). Very quiet and "tuned" sounding exhaust.

The tips look awesome when polished up!

Well, we can eliminate the CEL with an appropriate Power Axel Module tune, but yes we do have a regular downpipe that mates up to the factory primary catalyst. Same high quality as the rest of our products.

You can purchase it anytime here:

Exceladyne Downpipe

They are in stock, we are working on removing the line from our website code.

Shipping should be about $30

Thanks,

The off-road downpipe removes both factory catalytic converters, thus doesn't need a test pipe. Its a single, easy to install piece that is a direct replaced for (2) of the factory pieces.

Oh so one more question, I have an Ark catback exhaust so would it not fit since the pipings are different (2.5" vs 3") or would it not matter?

Shouldn't be an issue. You may have to double check for exhaust leaks between the two flanges, but a good gasket should make up the difference.

I did just about everything you shouldn't with an exhaust, including using the BR downpipe with the stock catback and it sealed fine.
In fact now that I have the DC catback, the only joint that actually seals is the connection to the BR downpipe pipe.

I think Arks catback is 3", the downpipe was 2.5" wasn't it?

Question on the downpipe. Is there a spacer or something for the O2 sensor? I'm asking because I'm leaning towards buying one when I find my next job, but don't want to throw CEL's.

The next question would be, if it does throw a CEL, and no fix, is there a fix available through a poweraxle tune?

We have tried eveything to fix CEL's and I'm afraid there is no way to eliminate them with hardware (IE: spacers). The ECU is 4 times redundant with its safety checks.

Yes, we can eliminate it with a PA reflash! As a matter of fact you need the PA flash in order to compensate for the new found airflow by eliminating the factory cats.

There would be a huge increase in power if you did the flash and downpipe together.

It takes only a matter of moments to return the car to stock settings on the ecu flash. You should drive cautiously because it won't be right for the down pipe, unless you re-install the factory part as well.

Tim, help me out here. When you put the downpipe on where do the o2 sensors go? Do they just dangle? Sorry.

Also, is swapping this pipe a one man job? Thx. I changed my RX8 mid pipe monthly. On the Gen, it looks like I am up closer to the motor, so I don't have a clue as to what I am looking at. A shop aint gonna touch it you know.

There are no O2 sensors in the downpipe. That for some odd reason is the O2 pipe on this car and has the first cat. The downpipe replaced from after the 1st cat through and including the second cat.
There is the BR off road downpipe that replaces both cats and it has O2 sensor bungs and BR can put in another for you if you have a wideband.

There is also the 02 replacement pipe that removes the first cat and has 02 bungs as well. This pipe can suck if the studs on the turbo snap so if you are doing this or the off road downpipe, you should also get the BR turbo studs and hit the treads of these bolts twice a day with penetrating oil for 3 to 4 days to avoid snapping a stud.

The downpipe alone can come on and off in 15 minutes once you break free the factory nuts.
