Default how to fix fading paint on the hood

the paint on the hood is not all that bad but you can see circle of faded paint spots on the hood one spot is a lighter silver then the actual hood. would some good buffering do the job taking it away? also i notice semi deep scratch on the side fender but i think its not thast deep. maybe buffering it out would take it away. in any event the car has 48000 miles on it and think its nice it got a nice detail to it.

any suggestion on how to fix this yourself instead of paying a lot of money to have someone professional do it?

Is the damage beyond the clear coat? If it isn't you can most likely cut and buff the paint. If you've never tried it before, look up some DIYs before attempting. You'll also need the right tools to make the job easier.

if it is indeed true faded paint (which I dont think it is).

1. go to dealer
2. let them fix it

lol

paint should be under warranty still

The ONLY way to fix MISSING paint or clear coat is more paint or clear coat. There is no way around that. At the same time...
