I plan to put up a DIY if there isn't already but first I need to know if there's a DIY thread for removing the clips that attach the head shield to the hood. I'm only used to the clips for removing the front bumper and these clips are different. I assume these might be easy to remove but didn't want to risk breaking one upon removal....

The ****? I already have the damn vents from import shark, I'm asking if anyone has bothered to show removal of the heat shield...the clips are not the same as other clips to such things as the air snorkel....your answer is irrelevant...

You didn't really clarify that. How was I supposed to know you had the vents sitting there? Next time be more clear. Maybe go into the hood vent thread and look for the guys that have said they installed them and PM them instead of making a irrelevant thread.

This is a DIY thread. Hopefully the mods can remove this post or move it so it doesn't junk up all the useful information here.

This should probably be posted in External or General until a DIY is made.

It was to be a DIY but seems no one here had viable feedback in order to process the DIY. Thankfully the vendor helped me out when no members on here did. Installing them tomorrow with pictures

The point of posting a DIY thread is to offer a DIY to fellow members...not to ask for instructions. Had your tone of voice been more polite, you would have received polite responses as well.

I was finally able to find them after some free time searching through threads, was able to get heat shield off but the hood vents from Import Shark do not fit because or the mesh that is basically just glued to the back of the vents....is too large an doesn't sit flush in its placement.
