nicely done... i guess i can call myself a fanboy of yours. Im most likely going to go out this weekend and get some and mess around with it. Can you tell if it has had any adverse effects on the clear coat of the car it self?

Haha, I have fans... =)

But no, nothing that I can tell, if anything when you peel it off the surface it was stuck to looks cleaner lol, cause it pulls any dirty or loose objects off with it, it you have any questions or ideas that you're not sure how to apply, you can ask me and I'll see what I can come up with for ya.

I currently have mine in white. It is impossible to get the brake dust off of them. I was hooning around the Dragon last weekend with CantFindMeHaHa and my wheels are coated pad dust that I couldn't get off no matter how much scrubbing I did. I'm thinking about biting the bullet and getting them powder coated. I think I might have my Intake Manifold done in blue at the same time as the wheels are being done

You could always do a clear coat over the white, then you can still peel it off and the clear coat will keep the brake dust off, or at least make it easier to wipe off.

Are you talking about clear paint or clear plasti dip? Because I don't think a coat of clear plasti dip will help too much, it think its the fact the the finish is a little porous that makes them hard to clean.

Clear paint, the plasti-dip would act as the base and keep the paint from sealing to the rim itself, so you should still be able to just pull it off when you want.

Not a bad idea. I'm gonna wind up respraying them anyway. I also think that I'm going to do my rear emblem white and maybe the mesh on my new grill. Think a Mira blue grill with a white mesh insert would look good?

No idea, but the awesome thing is, if you don't like it, peel it off!

It turned out pretty damn good from what I can tell, and yes I did this by myself with no outside help. I'm pretty damn good at coming up with ways to get what I want done, done.
It's hard to tell from the pic, how shiny is the white plasti-dip? I was thinking about white matte powdercoat for my rims, but this may be easier.

All plasti-dip is matte coloured, because its used to give tool handles better grip.

Took about 3 cans, depends on how many coats you want and how thick you want the layers to be.

If I spray clear coat over the plasti dip, will it still be removable later on?

How long does plastidip last? I'm curious when it starts to fall off, if ever.
