so I won't upload that video for you then Cam

I think they will work but I am not sure. Also to make myself feel better about breaking the screen I decided to finish the AC control. I am not sure what to do about the temp side. If I put a blue LED in the left side it will wash out the red on the other side, there is no divider, just 5 LEDs under the knob.

I would also like to add if anyone wants to donate a 2011 LCD radio screen to me since I broke mine I will be more than happy to change the color of your cluster LEDs in exchange.

Just an update to show you guys what the gauges look like in bright daylight.
It is not quite as bright as OEM in daylight but I have no issues at all seeing everything.

They turned out great, I couldn't be happier. Now I just have to get the screen sorted out and I'll be all set.

ive never taken the knobs off, but i assume its hollow, couldnt you take transparent colored plastic and tape it to the inside of the knob and then use white LEDs. shines thru the blue to make it blue and same for the red for the heat, ive done it on my macs keyboard and the apple logo in the back and it works well. Just an idea i thought id throw out there

i think this is the site i originally followed when i did it the first time

right, but the center part where you would be putting the plastic wouldnt be rotating. he would just have to cut it carefully so it fit in the center and probably use glue

It's actually fairly easy. It's very time consuming though. I've never messed with SMD soldering before this and it came out perfect!

Nicely done...glad to see someone finally do this.

For those who are doing this that ride with no TPMS sensors, this is a perfect opportunity for you to pull the LED that illuminates the TPMS sensor light.

EBay. There was only one on there for a 2011 and I paid more than I would have liked to but I had to have it so it is what it is.
