2013 Nav to Aftermarket

Hey guys,
Been reading around the forums to see if I found anything around this. I have a 2013 Premium with the integrated Nav and infinity system. Can the Nav unit be switched to an aftermarket say Pioneer (just random
Brand) head unit? Would there be any issues with the wires/compatibility?

In short I'm looking to switch my Nav for a CarPlay Pioneer radio.

Yes it can. He top screen just doesn't work. It's controlled by LVDS and data. But the dash kit looks nice. I just installed a kenwood dbl din and used the maestro harness to retain steering wheel controls. I'm in the process of figuring out a way to use the top screen as a reverse camera display

So, how did you manage to keep/transfer the AC controls in the aftermarket unit?

Also very interested in this! Does your bluetooth audio streaming still work? Did you go aftermarket amplifier or kept it stock?

Aftermarket amp, alpine type s speakers all around. 12" sub in a custom box that I built for him. Bluetooth streaming works great off Kenwood unit. And steering wheel controls work perfect and even gain some extra functions with the maestro Rr

That's awesome. People have been trying to get a backup camera working on that screen for so long. Granted that's with keeping the OEM functions, but still. Very Nice.

When you use the maestro harness you get gauges on the screen of your Kenwood. And the screen is an aftermarket piece from Amazon. With a board that will take hdmi, vga, and single video rca inputs. Then it was just a matter of fitting the screen into the dash piece

This is looking great! Any details on the materials and equipment you used? Gonna look into it. Where did you buy the dash kit? And do you think the Xfinity speakers can be used still?
