It's dead in the water. The Lap3 US rep has stopped with updates and responses. Even the FB group KATA has stopped with their responses of "just wait" and "it'll be so worth it". My guess, they were on track....ran into issues (was explained in some updates) and then just said forget it. So at this point, I'm done. I will longer give any hope or thought of a handheld until it is in stock, able to purchase or has real reviews. Until then, everyone else should follow suit as again, I'm not holding my breath for a handheld.

I wouldn't say dead in the water because from what I've seen, they already have it "ready" for 2.0T, plus they already put in the R&D, dev time and have made an investment. Plus they are already successful with the other KDM platforms, so I'd still expect them to come out with it, just won't be sitting idle (except all I can do is sit idle because my next mods depend on that thing).

But, you never know. They could just call it. I think the lack of updates was simply from the horrific lash-back from the community and now the constant trolling they get. It really hurt their rep and more recently even the more "prominent" members of the community have been speaking out against Lap3 and their progress and you know how that works.

It'll come out at some point or something else will. Just move forward with your builds, get tunes from existing tuners. If nothing else, the Nolman guy from Alpha will have a solution. He can do remote tuning and is working on a 3.8 solution.

Yeah I see what your saying. Awaiting SFR to announce their Spring custom dyno day. Still need to put the headers on before that though. I'll be at least full bolt-on custom tune with weight savings. After that, I'll finally get a paint job. Honestly in no rush as far as power is concerned due to the fact its a weekend toy and no longer daily.

I got a response..."Just look down a few posts. A bunch of us already have them"

I see one post and it seems to be a joke post, unless my sarcasm meter is way off.
