Matte black vinyl will cost MUCH LESS. I know not only because we distribute vinyl(out of house) but also because I have a 60" tall by 75' long roll of it waiting in my house for when my coupe is all fixed up When you get 10 Posts shoot me a PM and I can give you all the info you'll need. We have access to vinyl in any size or color you can imagine so I'd be happy to assist you with your purchase if this is the route you decide to go!

There is a guy on here that did it. IIRC it was $3-$4k to wrap and $6-$7k to paint (properly). Maybe one of them will see this and chime in.

How much does it cost in your area to wrap/paint the car?

Why don't you ask the shops in your area?

Good first post......

The vinyl it's self can be had for well under $1,000. If you're brave it is very possible to DIY, just please do some extensive research before you botch the job and end up peeling it off after a week

i disagree. maybe the cost of the material is less but the labor on placing the vinyl will definitely shoot up. so in the end, it's much more expensive to have it wrapped.

My friend had his roof done for like $100 in dry cf look vinyl.

I can't imagine what you guys are talking about w/ these prices.

^ What he said.

Most of the guys who provide wrapping services think their customers are made out of money. Ridiculous...

The roof is just a simple square/rectangle with little to no bends in it and it is on a horizontal surface and it makes up about 20% of the car. If it was all as easy as the roof, that would make it $500 (5*$100), but it isn't that easy at all. I would recommend giving it a try and at $1000 a pop, you would make some good money since you are still 60% cheaper than $3k people, they would go to you..... The only problem, is it isn't that easy, I rememeber a guy on here that attempeted to do his roof and even had issues. Attempting this on a side curved part of the car that is verticle, would probably take two to three times the amount of time to complete hence the increased dollar amount.

I was at an auto show, and you can buy a clear matte 3m protecting vinyl. so you can have matte for any color.

one of the sponsors on this site "downshift graphics" located in southern california will wrap your roof for only $90 AT YOUR HOUSE and they will do your whole car in less then 1 weeks time usually a couple visits for hours but will cost you anywhere from $1500-$1800 i have heard for this car.

If you can do it yourself or like he said "brave enough" to attempt it you can get all the materials for under $500.
