I'd have to agree that literally everyone else wants this for aesthetics. That's what I'd shoot for if it makes sense to proceed with a single outlet "diffuser" design. Performance-only mindsets are few in numbers around here. Not that this is a bad thing, but it does make life difficult for guys like you who want function over form.

^^^^ thanks & yeah I have a feeling that I will be doing alot of my own designs/fabrications due to the lack of interest in actual performance. Eventually there will enough others like me that want something that not only looks good, but has function as well......then parts will become available & I'm in no rush...

I really just want a regular plastic single exit rear diffuser..Not a CF one..two options would be nice for those who want CF and those who do not..

I was just talking about something with one single exit on the right side and with some nice lines like the evos

Well, keep in mind that you can paint a CF part just like fiberglass, metal, plastic, etc. In the sub-$300 range with shipping within the US, it's not like we're talkin about something that's extremely expensive either. One thing I will ask though is if I can get some plain fiberglass single diffuser covers along with the CF ones if anyone wants this. Might cost a bit less.

FYI, V6 single exit is coming out soon as well, compliments of SFR. Market is going to get bigger for the diffusor.

Got word back from the factory. We can definitely make a carbon fiber Sequence diffuser with only a single exhaust outlet, but we'll require at least 20 people to pre-pay before it gets done. Pricing will be approximately $350 shipped. I can calculate the exact amount if needed, but this should be good enough for the time being.

So no polyurethane or plastic option?

i would get this. but only if its NOT in VF. i know i can "just paint it" but im not gonna pay MORE for something in CF to then pay AGAIN! to have it painted. ill be doing double the work and paying for 2 things that can be avoided.

I'll find out about the fiberglass option too, but don't expect it to be drastically less.

I don't think the breakdown will matter, as long as it's a total of 20 total diffusers. Either way, I'll have pricing within the next day or so. Maybe even tomorrow morning.

Because everything on this forum is whored out and there is absolutely ZERO markup. We can't charge a premium price for a carbon fiber product because people will just go asking other vendors to make the same thing--and it'll likely get done for less. So basically, there's no such thing as a "premium" carbon fiber product anymore. Still though, considering how much it costs to import shipments these days, there really won't be a huge difference between fiberglass and carbon fiber. Guess we'll see exactly how much when I get the final numbers...

i really like this, esp for 2.0, i wouldnt mind going for a custom single exhaust out the center to match a diffusor like this
